Recovery Is An Acceptance That Your Life Is In Shambles And You Have To Change
– Jamie Lee Curtis
After several struggles of my own with addiction throughout the years I decided that I wanted to make a difference. I want to show others that there is a life after addiction.
In June of 2008 I lost my mother in a drunk driving crash where she was the drunk driver. She killed herself and her boyfriend because she chose to drink and drive. One would think that this would help me to stay away from alcohol knowing the devastating impact that it can have in a person's life.
Unfortunately, it did not keep me from a life in addiction. I spent several years after my mothers death struggling with alcohol and drug use.
Because of this personal experience, I feel that I am able to help people who are struggling with addictions in a different way than someone who lacks the personal experience with addiction.
If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction please call Infinite Avenues Counseling and let me help show that there is life after addiction.
